Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Motorcycle Gets More Affordable: Check Price

Bajaj Auto has revised the prices of the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle, i.e., the Freedom 125. This comes at a time when the motorcycle is approaching its first anniversary. With these changes in place, the entry-level drum variant of the bike now gets a Rs 5,000 discount. This brings the starting price to Rs 85,976 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the other variants come at Rs 95,981 and Rs 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom).

The base variant, Freedom 125 NG04 Drum, is available in two color choices: Pewter Grey and Ebony Black. The other two variants, Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED and NG04 Disc LED, can be found in five color options: Caribbean Bleu, Ebony Black, Racing Red, Cyber White, and Pewter Grey.

Constructed on a trellis frame for greater rigidity, it comes equipped with front telescopic forks and a rear mono-shock suspension. The 17-inch front tyre is fitted with a 240mm disc brake, while the 16-inch rear tyre can have either a drum or a 130mm disc brake, depending on the variant. The Freedom 125 CNG has a wheelbase of 1,340mm, a seat height of 825mm, and a ground clearance of 170mm.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG features a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, generating 9.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and 9.7 Nm of torque, and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. In CNG mode, its 2 kg CNG tank offers a range of over 200 km, while the 2-litre petrol tank provides about 130 km, resulting in a combined estimated range of over 330 km. Bajaj states that in CNG mode, the motorcycle achieves a mileage of 102 km/kg and 65 kmpl in petrol mode.
